What is the General Data Protection Regulation about?
Effective May 25th 2018, the new EU General Data Protection Regulation for protection of personal data (GDPR) goes into effect. The GDPR replaces the previous EU Data Protection Directive (European Directive 95/46/EC). The GDPR strengthens the rights of EU citizens and give them more control over how their data is handled or used.

Grindabuck.com has always taken great care to ensure that our members' data is safeguarded and only shared in accordance with our posted Privacy Policy. We are committed to ensuring that our policies and practices are compliant with applicable laws and regulations.
As such, we have taken steps to evaluate all areas of the site that are related to personal data as well as our internal procedures and policies.
To further ensure that all members of the Grindabuck team have a full understanding of the new policies, we have conducted GDPR awareness training for all employees and we have appointed a Data Protection Officer. We will continue to monitor applicable privacy laws to ensure ongoing compliance with the GDPR and other privacy laws and regulations regarding collection, use and retention of personal data collected from our customers.
